How Movial can help you
If you need additional help with your Snowball based device project, Movial offers commercial support services for Snowball developers, for example:
- Consulting and software development services for porting your software application or solution to Snowball
- Video and voice calling application integration on Android, with 3G/LTE modem
- Driver integrations for touchscreen, accelerometer, 3G/LTE modem etc. additional peripherals
- WebKit browser optimization
- HTML5 application development and integration
- Official Adobe DCTS testing, Flash 10/11 optimization and integration, AIR 2.x porting and certification
- Support for using Snowball with additional hardware
- User experience design for prototyping, user interface design etc.
- Training courses for embedded Linux, Android, Qt/QML and user interface design, customized to the customers’ schedule, knowledge and skills.
Support work model with Movial
Objectives for working model
- Movial will provide the Customer software development services on Linux/Android, on time and materials basis
- Movial senior engineer(s) will work on Customer project under Customer project management
- Target hardware will be ST-Ericsson’s Snowball device with Customer providing the HW with necessary peripherals they might be using additionally
- Movial will provide support from its Helsinki office, onsite support at Customer office can be discussed separately.
Communication plan
Movial engineers will be communicating to the Customer team by email, IRC and Skype-calls.
Response times
Response times can be negotiated based on Customer needs. Once an agreement is in place, Movial engineer(s) will start working on the Customer reported topic no later than within the following business day from the customer request.
Additional support
Upon Customer request Movial can also provide fixed quotes for specific work items with detailed requirement description.

Trainings
Movial offers a variety of embedded Linux training courses and user interface design courses, customized to Customer’s team's schedule, knowledge and skills.
Snowball specific trainings can be tailored for Customer needs, from general trainings to more specified topics.

Training can be extended with additional days of deeper insight to Customer specific topics, such as driver development, multimedia and graphics training, application porting etc.
Pricing
Starting at €350 EUR á day per participant (minimum 10 participants), plus Movial instructor travel costs to Customer site, accommodation.

Workshops
Movial can provide consultancy services for Customer’s developing Snowball based solutions.
Our Linux and open source experts help you secure the investment on Snowball and provice a fast track to get Customers started with their designs.
